Julie M. Benz is an American actress, born on May 1, 1972. She was awarded the Satellite Award for 2006 for the most outstanding supporting role in a mini-series or motion picture made for television for her portrayal of Rita Bennett in Dexter. The show she starred in was No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on May 13 2011. Her most famous role included Darla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. The actress is scheduled to appear on CBS's new show A Gifted Man.
